Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team. The AGM will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of service, and supporting the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant management. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and training to maintain high performance standards.
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, and other administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Handle cash management, including cash-outs, deposits, and financial reporting.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or brewery.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management.
  • Proficiency in scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software.
  • A passion for craft beer and the brewing process is a plus.
