The Assistant Project Accountant will team and collaborate with the CFO to help assist with a variety of accounting functions that focus on business, tax and real estate accounting. On any given assignment, you may help to improve internal processes and directly communicate strategies and analytical results with the CFO to help keep projects on track.
BA/BS degree in Accounting (Preferred)
Minimum of 3 years Accounting experience
Solid understanding of fundamental accounting, finance and tax principles
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
Strong oral and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to 'think outside the box' while identifying problems and developing creative solutions
