Title:Engineering / Technology -Technician (5859-1)

End Dates: 03/08/21 - 04/01/2021


Work Location: Ft. Myers, FL

Shift:1st Shift (7:00 AM to4:00 PM)

Pay rate: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr on W2



Job Description: Lead Field Technician:


A lead technician must have the ability to lead the team to complete job assignments within project schedule. The Lead technician should lead/direct team to meet daily production requirements. The lead tech should actively find opportunities to keep team members on-task and insure material requirements are met. The lead tech should be on time, focused and accountable for the team.

Must pass background check, drug free in accordance with BASA requirements and state law. Must have reliable transportation and own basic tools. Typical environments are renovation of existing facilities (active hospitals and schools) and new construction sites (hospitals and schools). Product installation of nurse call, critical communication (intercom), sound systems and other low voltage systems.

A lead technician should be capable to make small revisions to operational plans based on site conditions and operational issues. The lead technicians can redirect team members to be more efficient in accomplishing tasks.

3.Job Qualifications Education/Experience, skill sets, desired competencies


EducationHigh School Diploma

ExperiencesElectrical/Electronics, low voltage cable installation, troubleshooting, some construction related job experience.

Skill SetsAble to work independently and lead team to complete job assignments, follow directions, safety conscious, do-whatever-it-takes attitude, courteous towards customers and co-workers.

Language SkillsAble to read, speak and understand English.

Technical Skills Knowledge of low voltage systems/data cabling infrastructure.

CompetenciesFocus and reliable.


EducationPost-secondary electronics/computer systems

ExperiencesLow Voltage cable installation experience.

Technical SkillsProblem solving, troubleshooting, ability to read blueprints.
