This position will serve as regional coordinator and manager of manufacturing planning, development and performance management, linking the regional manufacturing organizations and the group manufacturing support organizations and driving for delivery of the manufacturing strategy through the region.

Position maybe based out of our Corp Office in Dundee, MI or at one of our Cement Plants such as the Ste Genevieve Plant located in Bloomsdale, MO or Midlothian Plant located in Midlothian, TX.


  • Ensure that group safety and security policies are implemented and adhered to in areas of management. Upholding the highest standards in health and safety and acting as a role model.

  • Serve as regional coordinator for cement manufacturing organizations, linking ID&D, CEM and the manufacturing organizations in the region, ensuring alignment and delivery of key initiatives and programs.

  • Work closely with CEM (Cement Excellence Manufacturing) on regional performance tracking and management, including reporting, resource allocation, action management, and industrial footprint development.

  • Support and lead the digital transformation in manufacturing analytics and reporting.

  • Guide and deliver annual manufacturing business cycle processes, providing strategic support and guidance to regional manufacturing organizations.

  • Oversee Plants of Tomorrow development and implementation in the region with a focus on accelerating implementation, learnings and adoption.

  • Assist in developing the regional talent pipeline and succession planning with key stakeholders, including ID&D Learning and Development function and Industrial Manufacturing Heads.

  • Work with Industrial directors and Geocycle on industrial development topics, specifically focused on delivering strategic projects and plant development initiatives, support business case and feasibility analysis.

  • Supports regional sustainability improvement and reporting in cement manufacturing.

  • Manage the regional Capex process and support the development of medium and long-term Capex plans, with specific focus on Green Capex.

  • Act as a role model and coach for direct reports and as assigned.


  • Works closely with Manufacturing Industrial Directors, Plant Managers, Geocycle & CEM functions & business partners

  • Represent regional manufacturing organization as required


Education: Bachelor's degree

Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree

Field of Study Preferred: Engineering

Required Work Experience: 10 - 15 years cement manufacturing

Required Computer and Software Skills: Drawings software, Microsoft office, Project Management software, SAP a plus

Travel Requirements: Up to 50%

  • Communicate with various stakeholders, ensure alignment and ensure programs are delivered efficiently and on time

  • Familiar with key manufacturing support functions and areas of integration

  • Understanding technical and capital development needs to deliver manufacturing strategy

  • Strong systems mindset and a track record of developing solutions beyond the status quo

  • Strategic thinking and alignment; ability to assess the needs, strategize on possible solutions and gain buy in and support for selected course of action
