Financial Analyst ViewPoint
Our Texas-based real-estate development firm is in search of an experienced Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst is responsible for underwriting land deals and managing capital funds.
The Financial Analyst will take on a wide range of responsibilities in support of the firm’s private capital markets, and public capital markets transactions, in addition to advancing the firm’s continued growth through internal initiatives. The Financial Analyst should have strong interest in the residential building industry and be excited to work on a streamlined, dynamic team in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain marketing, pitch books and valuation materials
- Creation of Confidential Investor Presentations
- Financial modeling, including traditional valuation and industry-specific methodologies
- Efficiently and accurate organization and analysis of due diligence information
- Create ad hoc transaction organizational documents
- Develop client relationships, working efficiently and accurately in a time-sensitive environment
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in investment banking or similar client-facing role
- Knowledge of real estate, particularly the residential housing sector, preferred
- CPA / CFA / MBA beneficial
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Critical thinker with a strong work ethic
- Self-starter who can simultaneously manage several deals and multiple responsibilities
- Extensive experience in PowerPoint, Excel and Word; including development of pitches, business development materials, and marketing documents
- Deep knowledge of corporate finance principles, including financial statement analysis, capital structure analysis, valuation, modeling, investment returns analysis, and similar concepts
- Existing FINRA license preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
