IT Quality Assurance Analyst - TSS

ABOUT THE ROLE

Play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, create and execute test plans, and ensure that our software meets the highest standards of performance and functionality. Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements and develop detailed, end-to-end test scenarios and test cases.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  1. Review and comprehend business requirements and user stories captured in Azure DevOps, Jira or similar.
  2. Apply best practices in test case decomposition to develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software applications.
  3. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, stakeholders, and vendors to understand requirements.
  4. Develop clear, well-documented test cases covering various conditions and edge cases.
  5. Maintain traceability between test cases and corresponding requirements.
  6. Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using established bug tracking systems.
  7. Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability and functionality of the software after updates and modifications.
  8. Conduct functional, integration, system, and performance testing to identify and resolve issues.
  9. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and recommendations to the development team.
  10. Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, and potential issues.
  11. Communicate test case updates, defects, and testing progress to relevant teams.
  12. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance and testing.
  13. Provide guidance and mentorship on effective test case development techniques.
  14. Participate in the existing QA program and processes.
  15. Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to optimize the QA program.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience – at least 3 years – as a Software QA Analyst or similar role in software quality assurance. Experience with performance and/or security testing.
