Do you enjoy working in Human Resources helping and assisting other employees? Then this is the job for you! Our local client is seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist for their 2nd shift production facility with flexible working hours! This position is responsible for the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, recruitment/employment, safety administration, employment law compliance and Spanish language translation.

  • Maintains safe practices and procedures with a focus on employee engagement
  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures 
  • Assists with the employee performance evaluation program
  • Conducts recruitment efforts for hourly personnel and temporary employees and assists with new-employee orientations and onboarding new employees
  • Assists with employee relations, counseling and exit interviewing
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Responsible for entering employee data in the HRIS System
  • Verify weekly payroll reports prior to posting
  • Assist and train HRIS users in the timekeeping and payroll approval process
  • Perform benefits administration to include change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees 
  • Assists with implementing and monitoring the safety program and compliance with OSHA reporting guidelines
  • Creates and maintains spreadsheets

  • 3-5 years progressive HR experience with at least 1 year in a manufacturing operation
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite 
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, listening and presentation
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish languages
  • Excellent relationship builder with a willingness to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation
  • Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple demands to meet tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resource Management or related field with a PHR or SPHR certification is desired
  • Experience with Ceridian Day Force desired
