Stationary EngineerJob Description
The Stationary Engineer operates all aspects of the central heating and cooling plants. The ongoing operations include reading, interpreting, adjusting, and maintenance of the plant and its equipment. Duties involve: high temp hot water, natural gas, oil fired boiler units, plant operations and maintenance with water chemical composure, dosing procedures for both heating chilled water plants and remote boilers. Candidates should possess working knowledge of chilled water producing plants, its equipment and distribution systems. S/he must be capable of operating more than one system concurrently and know the maintenance and operation of various remote boiler systems, including their chemistry as prescribed for proper operation.
