ABOUT ALLCAT CLAIMS SERVICE

REQUIREMENTS
Strong organizational, communication and follow up skills are a MUST
Ability to work with routine and/or repetitive activities but also be responsive to disruption and change
Ability to maintain discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgement
Prefers to approach and complete tasks in a very linear and concrete fashion
Enjoys working in a dynamic environment and easily acclimates to changes in process/systems for overall improvement of the organization
Must be accurate and detail-oriented
Ability to learn new technologies
Working knowledge with Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides AUTO claims service via internal channels (mail/other electronic channels).
Reviews auto claims to determine if a status letter is required based on information in the claim and composes letter if applicable.
Acquires and applies basic knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance industry products, services, and processes to include P&C insurance policy contracts and coverage's and how they affect the status of the claim.
Seeks guidance from team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for escalation.
Contributes to business goals and performance metrics, and effectively uses tools & technology. Supports workload surges and/or Catastrophe operations as needed to include working significant overtime during designated catastrophic events.
Licensing training is provided. You must obtain your license within 3 testing attempts (paid for by Allcat).
Employees must successfully complete training
Employees attending training are expected to meet Allcat's established standards for performance, attendance and conduct.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED
This position will require an Insurance Adjuster's license. You must pass a licensing exam within a designated number of attempts and can become licensed in all applicable states. Allcat will provide the study and training environment to assist you with the licensing exam.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree
Computer literacy in a Windows operation environment
WORK SCHEDULE
Availability to work Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm Schedules may vary based upon business needs.
