OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT
The Site Operations Department is responsible for the overall health and wellbeing of all mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, customer service and performance of all data modules at each campus. The teams are staffed 24 x 7 on site with Critical Facilities Engineers (CFEs) on each shift. These teams are the face of Vantage to our customers and the first line of defense regarding the uptime of our campus as well as the general health of our customer installations. Using a Critical Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan and track needed work, each campus Site Operations department manages all preventative and corrective maintenance on-site for our campuses located throughout North America.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Vantage is looking for a motivated Operations Data Analyst proficient in business and data analysis who will deliver automated reporting capabilities to the North American Operations team. The Operations Data Analyst is an expert in Statistical Process Control, evaluating business processes and measuring performance with appropriate KPIs. They have data engineering experience to deliver metrics, reports, dashboards, forecasts, models, etc. and translate and interpret the results for effective decision making. They will establish and thoroughly document the data acquisition and transformation requirements. They will look at resulting business and operational data, extracting meaningful insights with strategic thinking.
The Operations Data Analyst delivers performance reporting standards requiring in-depth evaluation and technical skill to scale. They collaborate with IT and other business stakeholders to drive consistency and economies and support internal customers with creating and maintaining reports. They are responsible for assuring quality and accuracy of reporting outputs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Statistically analyze business process and establish or validate performance measures and KPIs
* Create and maintain data collection plans to include acquisition, transformation, calculation, aggregation, data flow, data dictionary and presentation
* Engineer data models and pipelines, help establish and support standard frameworks
* Automate metric and KPI reporting from data acquisition through transformation and presentation
* Automate workflows
* Define and govern visualization standards for charts and graphs
* Train users on reports and reporting tools
* QA data - standardize, consolidate, aggregate and enrich reports, data and measures
DUTIES
* Analyze business process and determine value-add KPI, metrics, dashboards, etc.
* Using statistical process control methods, define performance reporting standards for varied processes across organizations and regions
* Collaborate with process owners to adopt and measure performance based on standard metrics
* Engineer necessary data pipelines for automated reporting
* Translate and communicate business and operational results, present findings in clearly understood views that can by dynamically stratified, aggregated, grouped, filtered and sorted by users
* Query, scrub, and model data to gain in-depth insight into relationships and trends
* Create and maintain technical and process documentation for ease of use and scalability
* Continually adjust, augment, and improve reporting and data visualization technologies based on changing needs and improved performance
* Analyze & interpret data using statistical and analytic (descriptive, diagnostic & predictive) techniques
* Support users with reporting requests and issues
* Ensure business reporting needs are met by providing needed source data for acquisition, data sets and storage requirements to IT
* Additional duties as assigned by management to meet departmental objectives and customer requirements
* Develop training content and deliver user training for reporting capabilities
* Isolate data errors and integrity issues, troubleshoot and locate root cause
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Business Management, related field, or equivalent experience
* 2+ years of Data Analysis and Business Analysis, Data Engineering, and Statistical Process Control
* Data Center, high-tech, or rapid growth industry experience is required
* Knowledgeable about mechanical & electrical equipment, critical infrastructure, and maintenance programs
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 360Suite - Excel, Word, Power Point, Project, and Visio
* Proficient in Power BI, Excel Macros, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or other reporting & data visualization tools
* Prior experience working with databases and familiar with database design - MySQL/SQL/PostgresSQL
* Experience developing limited scripts
* Acute attention to detail and focus for accuracy
* Expert listening and communication skills to gather and synthesize reporting requirements and reach consensus on standards
* Effective personal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others and drive new capabilities
* Self-motivated, change catalyst
* Capable of delivering training and providing coaching on tools
* Prior experience with ITIL, CMDB, CMMS, CMS, and HTML knowledgebase software is preferred
* Limited travel is expected
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
* Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

* Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
