What you will do

Under the direction of the customer visit program director, the showcase operations manager is responsible for strategic execution of all operational and analytical aspects of the Milwaukee Showcase including customer visits, tours, meetings, events, processes, procedures, systems, tools, sales impact metrics, measurement and utilization of the program at large. Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, assisting the customer visit director in budget forecasting and oversight of department spending, management of vendor relationships related to facility maintenance, meeting space setup, catering services, briefing program software, audio/visual support and creative services vendors.
Creates mid-sized marketing communications that inform the target audience of the benefits of the organization's products and services. Assists in the implementation of marketing programs to achieve the desired reach and frequency numbers to ensure increased exposure of the organization's offerings.

How you will do it
Provides strategic consultation and project management required to develop and implement consistent world class customized showcase visits and events.
Strategic Operations
•Administrate, maintain and streamline the operational tools, systems, processes and policies in support of the Customer Visit Program, specifically but not limited to BriefingEdge, TicketManager, Prysm, and Milwaukee Showcase network access storage (NAS).
•Manage scheduling, conflict-checking and workload of Milwaukee Showcase calendar of events including assignment of visit planning to Milwaukee showcase team members and management of leadership approvals for requests submitted to the Milwaukee Showcase team.
•Scrub, review and analyze all customer visit and event sales impact and utilization data in alignment with historical metrics and annual customer visit program team goals.
•Prepare, analyze and deliver bi-weekly visit reporting, monthly showcase operations reporting, quarterly reporting and annual reporting for various stakeholders, audiences and customer visit marketing initiatives.
•Drive new initiatives to integrate systems and process for better automation and data integrity.
•Support the ongoing development of the Global Customer Visit Program in all areas of operation including program marketing, visit execution, measurement, reporting event communications, and personnel training.
•Manage asset and distribute ticket requests and food/beverage as required

Vendor Management & Technical Support
•Serve as key point of contact for any and all service providers supporting the Milwaukee Showcase Operations including facilities, catering, A/V support, global infrastructure, PC support and creative-content providers.
•Log and track all service tickets and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with vendors to ensure service levels are met and all systems are operational.
•Troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues related to A/V and PC equipment and systems.
•Project manage any facility and equipment improvements or repairs.

Budget Management
•Assist the Milwaukee Showcase department director in preparation of annual strategic and financial operating plan.
•Manage the Milwaukee Showcase department budget in conjunction with and under the supervision of the Milwaukee Showcase department director.
•Manage day-to-day processing of vendor invoices and Milwaukee Showcase department purchase orders.

Customer Visits
•Lead and deliver world-class customer visits and events through planning, execution and post-event stages.

Job Requirements

What we look for

•A bachelor’s degree in marketing and 5 to 7 years of directly relevant work experience is required. Agency experience, particularly as traffic or account coordinator is highly desirable.
•Strong organizational, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Must be a self-starter, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and details while working independently.
•Strong attention to detail, and an appropriate sense of urgency, prioritization and tenacity.
•Must have sufficient experience to successfully navigate complex organizations and effectively coordinate work among a broad range of colleagues, consultants, and vendors.
•Able to drive results absent formal authority or lines of accountability.
•Computer and web literate, with proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, the effective use of e-mail (MS Outlook, Lotus Notes) and the web, with the ability to learn new computer systems.
