L.K. Jordan has an immediate need for an Entry Level Sales Assistant. This position will be temp-to-hire and will start at $13.50/hour. Candidates should have a good customer service background and a positive attitude! This position will be Monday-Friday 8: 00 AM - 5: 00 PM. This position will be supporting sales and have some sales duties as well.

Job Duties:
- Must be proficient in current Microsoft Office platforms of Word, Excel and Power Point and have good computer skills.
- Be able to fax, email, or mail any information a customer may need about a product we are offering them.
- Ability to prioritize work items.
- Handle all paperwork and inside functions for builder salesperson including, but not limited to, quotes, tickets, and purchase orders.
- Use quotes for accuracy and speed when creating repetitive tickets.
- Be detail oriented and work diligently at keeping your paperwork in order on a daily basis.
- Be able to create estimates with information taken over the phone and send to customer.
- Be flexible and cooperative in the work you are assigned to perform.
- Handle contacts with salespersons customers both from the field and in the office.
- Be ready to stand in for a salesperson when needed.
- Take scheduling information and be able to turn it into work orders or installation tickets and be able to put them in the schedule
- Be prepared to answer questions about all products your salesperson sells.
- Verify all Po s on receipt to our plans and clarify any problems before the work orders are printed or the work is scheduled.
- Maintain a daily schedule for you and your salesperson so you will always know what the other is working on.
