TheRevenue Integrity RN Audit representative is responsible for auditing chargesto ensure that documentation supports billing; performs insurance audits aswell as routine audits as required by corporate policy to ensure appropriatecharging by ancillary departments. Communicates all audit findings with the necessary parties and worksvery closely with external auditors to resolve discrepancies.  They work with various departments to ensureappropriate charge capture and documentation, including HIM, Case Management,Billing, and physicians.  This positionworks very closely with the billing department to assist with claims that editwithin the scrubber which need clinical attention to resolve edits.

Job Requirements

  • •        Associatesdegree in nursing is required. Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
  • •        5 years asan RN and 5 years in an HIM or Billing Office is required.  
  • •        Basicknowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS is preferred.
  • •        RN Licensein good standing
