Architectural Designer in Boulder, CO

Kari Whitman Interiors is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated architect to join our award-winning architectural interior design firm in Boulder, CO. The ideal candidate must be passionate about design, take pride and ownership in their work, possess solid leadership and communication skills, and enjoy a professional team environment. High professional standards and a strong work ethic are a must.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working with residential and commercial architecture and construction documentation creation
• Portfolio displaying variety of work/projects
• General knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
• Familiarity with design software: AutoCAD proficiency required
• Licensed Architect in Colorado preferred
• Bachelor or Masters of Architecture preferred

Responsibilities:

• Create plans and drawings which clearly outline architectural design of project
• Utilize knowledge of engineering, math, science and materials in order to create ideal finished product
• Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
• Oversee and make recommendations throughout entire construction process
• Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
