
Data Entry/ Customer Service Operator
Status: Hourly
Reports to: Customer Service Lead
QUALIFICATIONS:
1) High School Diploma or Equivalent
2) 1 year of experience in Data Entry/ Customer Service
3) Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
4) Ability to work in a team as well work independently
5) Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
6) Excellent time management skills
7) Attention to details
8) Strong organizational skills
9) Experience in high volume processing or call center environment is a plus, but not required
10) Cooperative attitude with good interpersonal skills
11) Personal responsibility to adapt to change
PRIMARY DUTIES:
The primary duties of the employee are (but not limited to):
• Accurately perform data entry within the related data fields
• Evaluate information for accuracy
• Validates customer ordering details; purchase order number, sold to account number, shipping address, shipping date, pricing, part numbers, quantities, special instructions
• Enter quotes and process orders in ERP, super office and G drive
• Ability to run reports, analyze reports and initiate action daily
• Respond in a courteous, professional and timely manner to all customers
• Cancel orders
• Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with co-workers and customers
• Check Ship dates for customers
• Answer phone calls and transfer as needed
• Greet people at front desk and assist them
• Open mail
• File invoices
• Print labels and instructions
• Assist team members when individual work has been completed
• Organize, plan and prioritize workflow
• Additional duties as assigned
