GHD is searching for Sr. Security
Specialist/Project Managers in eith the Chantilly, Richmond, or Syracuse offices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ability
to discuss, plan and design all aspects of the following: a) Physical Access
Control Systems (PACS) equipment and software (multiple manufacturers); b)
Video Assessment and Surveillance Systems (VASS) equipment and software
(multiple manufacturers); and c) Force protection systems (bollards, barriers,
gates, blast resistant materials, etc.)
Ability
to engage in discussion on these and other security subjects with clients at
both high-level and/or detailed technical level
Familiarity
with both expansion planning (updating existing) and new systems
implementations for both PACS and VASS
Familiarity
working with and/or directing sub-contractors in the planning, design and
implementation of these systems
Understanding
of supportive infrastructure for these systems, cabling, conduit, terminations,
head end and distributive equipment
Perform
Risk Assessments and Physical Security Surveys
Ability
to estimate workload and other costs for planning and design tasks
Ability
to track performance and manage your time against contractual agreements
Ability
to prepare and present reports on performance, issues, considerations, etc. to
clients
Ability
to prepare and present reports on performance, issues, considerations, etc. to
clients
Experience
in writing fee proposal and scope of services.
Strong Marketing back-ground
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s
degree in related field or demonstrated equivalent combination of education,
skills, knowledge, abilities and experience
10+
years of relevant recent experience
PSP
certification
Experience
in the design and planning of access control and video systems
Adept
and skilled at interacting directly with clients
Some
travel required, as deemed necessary by clients
Business Development acumen
Preferred
qualification:
CPP Certification completed or in progress
