MECHANICAL DESIGNER – SAN DIEGO, CA

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical and mechanical industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Mechanical Designer in San Diego, California.

Mechanical Designer Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Mechanical Designer in San Diego, CA is between $70,000 and $100,000 depending on experience and presentation in interviews, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

 Mechanical Designer Duties & Responsibilities

• Will be required to build out projects related to commercial, multi-family and residential buildings
• Responsible for performing all aspects of drawing process start to finish
• Utilize modeling software including AutoCAD and Revit
• Will be responsible for establishing and reviewing CAD files provided by the architect
• Responsible for developing flow diagrams

Mechanical Designer Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree related to drafting or design is preferred, can be replaced by adequate filed experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical construction field: plumbing, pipping and/or HVAC
• Knowledge of CAD process and procedures
• Proficient in modeling software (AutoCAD and Revit)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• AutoCAD certification is a plus
• PHCC is a plus
