Reporting to the shift supervisor, the Mobile Equipment Operator (Rolling Stock) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Loaders/ Mobile Equipment. This position operates loaders equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop which is used to transport aggregate or other materials to feed hoppers or chutes, and/or to stock pile aggregates. This person will also provide maintenance assistance while lines are down or loader isn’t being operated. 

This position is based at our new metals and ash processing facility at Fairless Hills, PA. You will be working on rotating shifts. Current estimate of shift schedule is 7 am - 5 pm and 5 pm - 3 am (subject to change).

 Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Operator include, but are not limited to: 

Equipment Operation of the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.  Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of the equipment prior to use.  Understanding and follow directions.

Position Requirements

Education, Training and Certifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. Driver’s License must be valid and candidate must have a clean driving record. Work Experience with a minimum 2 to 3 years’ operating a Loader is required. Ability to work rotating shifts, as needed.

Technical Knowledge of Loader and other heavy equipment a plus. Experience in handling road construction materials a plus, operations experience with landfill sites also a plus.  Understanding of bucket scales systems and Weigh Masters scale license may be required and if so will be covered by the company to obtain if the candidate does not have one.

Ability to provide maintenance assistance while lines are down or loader isn’t being operated, is a big plus.

We are looking for individuals that have a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and can Multi-task and set priorities effectively. Who can accomplish goals in a team environment working collaboratively within the organization is essential for our continued success.   

Working Condition will be mainly indoors of a large warehouse structure that will follow ambient condition changes during the seasons.  Overtime as required and while most work is inside there will be requirements at times work will be performed in an outdoor setting such as snow removal for the site, loading trucks via forklift which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, cold and frozen conditions. Unless we are in a state of emergency and there is a band on driving you are required to report for work.  Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis. Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is required. Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
