Staff Accountant
Classification: Accounts Payable Clerk
Compensation: $28.50 to $35.00 hourly
Are you an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that is looking for a long-term temporary-to-full-time position? Accountemps is currently trying to fill this position with a candidate that wants to become a crucial part in a team environment. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. We seek out ambitious professionals who are creators, leaders, and pioneers. Based out of the Hayward, California area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term temporary-to-full-time opening. What you get to do every day - Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis - Carry out a full-cycle A/P - Provide internal and external audit assistance as required - Carry out additional tasks as assigned - Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department - Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling - Provide customer service to internal business partners - Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents - Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
