Chief Revenue Officer

Company is a SaaS organization, committed to growing our data-driven site search and content enablement solutions across the globe. Headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, Company is excited to bring on a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to help lead the U.S. operations based in our Minneapolis office.

The CRO will be a growth-mindset leader, who ensures Company is a safe place to cultivate business opportunities and develop teams. This dedicated leader will be a team champion responsible for reshaping, managing, forecasting, budgeting and taking initiative with revenue activities across Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience. By managing and enhancing revenue programs, the CRO will help build our start up business to a world-class organization for greater scalability and global impact. In the interim, this individual will oversee our U.S. based finance and operations team. 

About the job

  • Inspire Customer Experience, Finance, Marketing and Sales teams to work together cross functionally as a global team and deliver on company mission
  • Collaborate and implement on strategy and key deliverables to optimize performance, move quickly on opportunities, capitalize on markets and build for the future
  • Partner on cultural alignment and accountability across the global revenue team
  • Lead revenue strategies and performance that scale growth across multiple departments
  • Grasp and evaluate business drivers and translate those needs to revenue programs
  • Responsible for revenue forecasting, budgeting and growth
  • Refine and measure data-driven metrics to improve department KPI’s
  • Create responsibility within departments by developing appropriate performance expectations
  • Build talent and learning programs within the team in partnership with People Experience
  • Be a trustworthy and ethical professional throughout the organization
  • Maintain a customer-first focused organization
  • Ability to travel
  • Take initiative with anything that comes your way

Your work qualifications

  • Equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to hire and lead teams with a growth and psychological safety mindset
  • Successful track record in hitting revenue targets across multiple areas and initiatives
  • Inclusive to the unique needs of a global team
  • Valid Passport

Nice to have qualifications

  • Genuine interest and commitment to a start- up environment
  • Experience in Technology, Software Sales and SaaS
  • High degree of integrity and confidentiality with all levels of the organization
  • Strategic collaborator and listener with the ability to anticipate business needs
  • Excellent networking, executive sponsorship, organization and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce – desired) and MS Office applications
  • Proven project management skills

  • Strong business acumen and composure
