Purpose The purpose of this position is to support sales and client retention through excellent customer service by performing E-Verify, keying employee data and assisting with basic payrolls. Essential Duties                                                                   

  • Coordinates and processes E-Verify for clients.
  • Performs new and existing employee data maintenance.
  • Assists with basic payrolls.
  • Assists with indexing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors

  • Knowledge of the requirements imposed upon the company by the states in which it operates, along with applicable federal laws.
  • Knowledge of the PEO business model and the company's services and products.
  • Skill to be organized, give attention to detail, and exercise follow up.
  • Skill to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines.
  • Skill to establish and maintain filing systems, format, proofread, edit documents, and perform calculations.
  • Ability to be effective when working independently or cooperatively as a team member.
  • Ability to interface with multiple departments, multi-task and work independently.
  • Ability to listen carefully and respond to or refer customer requests and problems with diplomacy and a sense of urgency. 
  • Ability to maintain a positive, respectful attitude and a diplomatic customer/client relations.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent. 
  • One (1) year of customer service experience.
