The purpose of this position is to support sales and client retention through excellent customer service by performing E-Verify, keying employee data and assisting with basic payrolls.
Coordinates and processes E-Verify for clients.
Performs new and existing employee data maintenance.
Assists with basic payrolls.
Assists with indexing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors
Knowledge of the requirements imposed upon the company by the states in which it operates, along with applicable federal laws.
Knowledge of the PEO business model and the company's services and products.
Skill to be organized, give attention to detail, and exercise follow up.
Skill to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines.
Skill to establish and maintain filing systems, format, proofread, edit documents, and perform calculations.
Ability to be effective when working independently or cooperatively as a team member.
Ability to interface with multiple departments, multi-task and work independently.
Ability to listen carefully and respond to or refer customer requests and problems with diplomacy and a sense of urgency.
Ability to maintain a positive, respectful attitude and a diplomatic customer/client relations.
High school education or equivalent.
One (1) year of customer service experience.
