Pool Attendant (Seasonal)

The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Additionally, guests can enjoy a Mokara Spa, fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) complete with a fire pit, outdoor lawn and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space inclusive of a 20,000 square foot ballroom, 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space that overlooks the park.

The pool attendant's role is to service and maintain the cleanliness of all public areas including the pool, public and associate restrooms, lobbies, and executive office in accordance with Omni Standards.

• Ensure cleanliness of the pool at all times.
• Service all public restrooms in the pool area.
• Ensure that the pool deck is serviced throughout the day.
• Provide towels and ensure rolled towels are placed on lounge chairs at the start of the day and after each guest.
• Provide information to guests about pool amenities, equipment, activities, restroom location, and food and beverage offerings.
• Assist with cleanliness of dining area at CatBird Seat, event lawn, and cabanas.
• Ensure main guest entrance to the pool is neat and clean at all times.
• Ensure all floral arrangements and plants are neat with no debris in the planters.
• Ensure all ash urns throughout the property are neat and clean at all times.
• Ensure water fountain and phone stations are maintained neat and clean at all times.
• Assist in resolving any guest issues.
• Assist in securing pool furniture and equipment during inclement weather.
• Assist with lobby attendant duties and other areas of housekeeping.
• Ensure that hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
• Complete any special projects that might be assigned.
• Report any maintenance issues or any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Able to maintain a 4 diamond level of service.
• Able to work with Management on special projects.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
• Must have a flexible schedule, and be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Must live within 50 miles of the hotel.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire shift.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.
