Unity Developer Intern - Virtualization Team - GHD Digital job in Farmington Hills at GHD

GHD is seeking a talented Unity Developer to join our visualization team for an internship opportunity. You will be part of a team that will be responsible for planning and implementing functionality, building code, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring the quality of the finished product. You will be working on incorporating real-world visual scans and scientific data into the Unity3D software and deploying it.


To ensure success in the position, you should have experience working with Unity3D software, excellent coding skills, and a good eye for detail. You will be expected to facilitate and support internal projects for GHD Digital Immersive Digital Solutions (IDS). In this role, you will help plan, implement, and coordinate activities of projects to ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished.


Responsibilities:

• Meeting with the project team to discuss development and specifications.
  
• Working with the team to establish strategy and development pipelines.
  
• Transforming design ideas into functional projects.
  
• Identifying and fixing code errors and process bottlenecks.
  

Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience
  
• Working on/have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
  
• In-depth knowledge with Unity3D software.
  
• Good communication skills.
  
• Excellent attention to detail.
  
• High initiative, superior interpersonal skills.
  
• Knowledge of scripting, animation, session management, and textures.
  
• Good troubleshooting skills.
  

Experience in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Studies, Engineering is a strong advantage.
