Contracts Specialist

Texas Instruments is seeking a Contracts Specialist to join our team in Dallas! This position is responsible for the negotiation and the management of commercial contracts. More specifically, this position will support TI's specific contract needs including, but not limited to, software licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, external manufacturing agreements, co-marketing agreements, development agreements, distributor agreements, quality agreements, memorandum of understanding (MOUs), logistics agreements and/or sales contracts.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Execute all aspects of commercial contracts ensuring conformance with company policy while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
* Anticipate problems, initiate actions and participate in projects (as necessary) to ensure commercial contracts are managed and processed efficiently.
* Draft, review and negotiate contracts according to TI strategy and appropriate terms and conditions, coordinating with internal legal counsel, subject matter experts and business unit/support organization management for acceptance of any non-standard agreement terms where necessary.
* Other functions of this position include contract initiation (format repository and first point of contact), negotiation tracking, contract finalization (routing, final filing) and post-execution tracking, in coordination with TI business/support organizations.
Minimum requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
* Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Preferred qualifications:
* Master's degree in Business or relevant field
* Internship experience in related field
* Basic understanding of contract terms and negotiation skills
* Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
* Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions and regions
* Attention to detail
* Inquisitive nature with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to identify system and process efficiency enhancements
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
* Ability to analyze data, gain insight, and create recommendations from the data
* Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
