Job Duties and Responsibilities This part should be no surprise: The Marketing Project Manager will support the planning of marketing campaigns, delegate tasks to project team members and help balance resources, ensuring marketing projects are completed on time and within budget. We need an analytical thinker who knows how to manage up and can make decisions quickly.

Be strategic: Work with the Marketing Leadership to create a strong strategy and map out how to execute it.
Be a team player: Collaborate with Analysts, Product Marketers, Product developers, Media buyers, Social Media and Content Writers and creatives to produce advertising content.
Be timely: Coordinate and manage against a content calendar and scheduling deadlines.
Be an expert: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products and its client base to implement effective marketing campaigns.
Be consistent: Manage and supervise marketing projects from beginning to end.
Be approachable: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors.
Be a leader: Direct and evaluate the project management process.
Be organized: Set up projects and manage them within Trello (or similar); Microsoft 365 Experience a plus.
Be a good listener: Vet and analyze project feedback.
Update and maintain project tracking.
Be supportive: Help Marketing team members in pulling initiatives 'through the line'; keep track of both B2B and B2C initiatives and find ways they can build on one another.
Be creative: You'll have all the product and marketing roadmaps, so be prepared to contribute innovative solutions yourself!
3+ years experience in the project management field for an agency or on a creative /creative services team
Strong working knowledge of video production, digital creative and social media creative
Great communication, people, leadership, organizational, and project/time management skills
The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
True problem solver-able to anticipate roadblocks and offer solutions
The ability to prioritize and consistently handle multiple tasks across multiple clients and teams
Flexibility when it comes to changing priorities, while still meeting deadlines
Attention to detail, while simultaneously seeing the bigger picture
A willingness and ability to learn
A positive attitude when executing tasks across accounts
Experience with Project Management theory and best practices
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills
Strong analytical skills
Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
*CareerBuilder employees are currently remote. We do have offices based in Chicago and Atlanta. When it is safe to return to the office, you will have the ability to continue to be remote or utilize the Chicago or Atlanta offices as determined by your manager.
