Account Representative - Government Services

Your tasks

Sue, our Manager of Government Services, is looking for a motivated and driven Account Representative to join our Inside Sales team at our home office in Plymouth, MN. As part of our team, you will be responsible for all aspects of providing support to Veterans Administration customer accounts, including contacting accounts by phone to promote and sell Unitron products and seminars. Responsibilities include: • Contact active and inactive accounts (minimum of 30/day) utilizing provided tools. • Enter all contact and call information into Salesforce.com (SFDC) database. • Support Outside Sales staff and update them on calls and contacts from SFDC database and likewise get information from their calls. • Support customers by taking incoming phone calls. • Fill order information from daily calls for product or support materials. • Occasional travel to seminars, potentially some weekends. You are passionate about making a positive difference in the world and will be instrumental to the success of our customers, increasing our sales and market share in the process. You maintain the highest standards for professionalism and integrity.

Job Requirements

Your profile

Skills • Effective verbal and written English communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer orientation. Must be good at building and maintaining relationships. • Excellent telephone etiquette with a mature, professional demeanor. • Acute detail orientation with a willingness and commitment to follow up. • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. • Ability to analyze and resolve problems, making sales decisions based on the requirements of accounts, user needs, and company and/or VA contract policies. • Proficient computer skills (MS Windows) and a strong technical aptitude. Education • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, but may be commensurate with experience. Experience • 2+ years’ experience in sales or customer service required, preferably within the hearing aid industry. Previous telephone experience.
