TheLPN is responsible for providing nursing care consistent with the goals andphilosophy of the Wythe Physician Practices. The LPN is required to provideprofessional nursing care and assists in the delivery of health care managementfor patients. This position requires strong clinical and critical thinkingskills. The LPN must be able to multi-task in a very fast paced, familypractice/internal medical office environment. May be required to help coverother areas as needed in all Physician Practices clinics.
I. Technical Requirements
a. Demonstrate knowledge of ICD-10,CPT codes, insurance benefits and healthcare backgrounds.
b. Must be proficient with alltechnical /medical equipment in all clinics.
c. Mustdisplay proficiency in EMR, order entry and other clinic and hospital systems.
d. Significantworking knowledge of computers, telephones, copy and fax machines.
e. Athena and Meditech experience preferred.
IV. Position Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of LicensedPractical Nursing
Licensure: Must hold an active andunrestricted Virginia nursing license or must be compact state eligible. ValidVirginia Driver’s License.
