Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time Days M-F 8-5

You Will Be Responsible For:

•           Supervises and coordinates imaging personnel, which includes staffing and ensures compliance with protocols

•           Oversees QC, QA programs and or accrediting functions

•           Delegates responsibilities to ensure quality care in the imaging department

•           Ensures employee safety and attends safety/loss-control trainings and engages in injury prevention

•           Performs accident and injury investigations, including conducting root cause analyses

•           Participates in completing patient safety initiatives

•           Responsible for managing supplies

•           May develop, deploy, and maintain protocols approved by radiologist

•           Assures Imaging equipment is available and in good working condition by troubleshooting and reporting findings through the hospital work order system.

•           Participates in hiring interviews and selection of candidates

•           Participates in performance evaluations, counseling and recommendations for advancement

•           Performs other duties as assigned


What You Will Need:

  • Associates degree
  • Three years of experience
  • BLS
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB
  • ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • FL Nuclear Medicine license

Job Summary:

Manages staffing for imaging and oversees departmental day-to-day activities
