D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a IT Compliance Analyst-FS for their Information Technology Financial Services Department. The right candidate will support IT in its efforts to ensure that the company is operating within required guidelines that safeguard the enterprise from control deficiencies, regulatory gaps, and reputational risk. Coordinate with its corporate parent company’s IT department, the Compliance Department, internal corporate audit, and external auditors for all requests for information and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Act as a DHI Financial Services (FS) contact for internal and external IT audit requests

  • Act as a contact for mortgage/title related state and federal audit requests

  • Monitor and act as primary contact for IT’s regulatory objectives

  • Arrange the Vendor IT Invoice Repository and approval process

  • Maintain application lists and contracts file repository (SharePoint site)

  • Maintain an FS IT Risk Assessment

  • Prepare the NPPI IT testing and checklist presented to ISP (Information Security Program) committee quarterly

  • Implement the Information Security Program’s IT training responsibilities for both DHI Financial Services and its parent company

  • Coordinate the IT Disaster Recovery Plan. Process IT policy and procedures

  • Review and maintain monthly privileged access audits

  • Organize and maintain results of FS Application quarterly access reviews  

  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training

  • Understanding of Mortgage Lender and Title impacts with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau CFPB

  • Familiarity Graham Leach Bliley Act: Interagency Guidelines Establishing Security Standards 

  • Understanding Sarbanes-Oxley IT and background in enterprise information technologies

  • Mortgage Industry/Financial Regulatory experience

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

  • Proficiency with MS Office and email

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred

  • Five or more years of experience in the internal audit field in a finance/lending related industry preferred

  • CIA or CISA preferred

  • Experience with information technology in application development or infrastructure support preferred

  • Ability to work with multiple levels of leadership to drive completion of tasks

  • Ability to work within IT Management to meet set timeframes with quality deliverables
