One of our clients located in Novato is in need of an Administrative Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. If you have experience working as an Administrative Assistant for a large company, you may be the perfect fit! Duties: - Maintain good working relationships with municipality personnel - Communicate permit updates and status with vendors and clients Administrative Duties - Project Management support - Data entry - Responsible for maintaining, filing and organizing documents - Write Purchase Orders - Arrange utility locates - Direct, organize and control permit related project activities - Prepare permit paperwork in accordance with jurisdictional requirements - Ensure all municipality documents and guidelines are current - Review documents to ensure codes are met before submitting permit - Obtain and review all necessary permitting forms - Submit permit requests via online systems and/or in person - Create and maintain Microsoft Excel files to track permit status

Job Requirements

Requirements: - Excellent communication, both verbal and written, skills - Must be able to represent our company with city officials - Must have prior office administration work experience - Excellent follow up skills - Detail oriented - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook - Excellent organization skills - Have a proactive mindset - Local travel required for the purpose of submitting and picking up permit documents - Ability to work in a team environment - Ability to set priorities and juggle multiple tasks, particularly in a fast paced, deadline oriented production environment If you meet the requirements and you can commit to a 6 month project, please contact us today at 707-578-2232.
