Job Description

PREVOST

Reports to: Planning Manager
 
Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to create and maintain part numbers in the system and to properly fill in the required fields in the master. Another key element will be to support the material team on purchasing orders follow up and expediting. This position will also provide Database assistance to the internal customers.  
 
Core Responsibilities
  • Orders follow up
  • Parts expediting
  • PO data updates
  • Creation and maintenance of part numbers in the system
  • Creation and maintenance of cross reference information in the system
  • Creation and maintenance of part number supersession in the system
  • Validation and analysis of information received before entering data into the system
  • Maintain updated information for Buyers and Planners to be used for Database Purposes
  • Back-up support for Canadian Database
  • Provide internal support to review or adjust database information
  • Vendor performance
Minimum Education and Experience
  • High school degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Word
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus
