Experis, a ManpowerGroup company has an exciting contract opportunity for a Project Manager. This position is 14 months (Possible Extension) contract for one of our key clients, a global biopharmaceutical company that is engaged in the discovery, development, and manufacturer of healthcare products.

Title: Project Manager

Location: Livermore, CA

Duration: 6 months (Possible Extension)


  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identifies resources needed and coordinates with PMO team to assign individual responsibilities.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to key stakeholders / project sponsors.
  • Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  • Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Manages and oversees all aspects of assigned projects
  • Works closely with Regulatory and Operations departments to ensure operations activities meet federal regulatory requirements
  • Interfaces with management staff and knowledge workers across business units
  • Influences and guides project team members
  • Communicates project(s) status to Operations Senior Manager and upper management as needed or requested
  • Prepares reports and/or presentations for upper management regarding status of project.


  • Bachelor's Degree in business, Management Information Systems or equivalent highly desired
  • 2-5 years project management experience
  • Experience with project management software would be very helpful


  • Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and objectives.
  • Ability to organize and direct projects to completion through drive and initiative.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with management and associates.
  • Ability to use effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to make critical decisions within company procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to be goal oriented and results focused.
  • Ability to use efficient time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate, both in writing & verbally, with others in a professional manner.
  • Ability to attend job related courses & seminars as required.
  • Ability to use office equipment that is relevant to job functions.
