Kelly Services has a short term temporary Human Resources Assistant available in West Branch. Position expected to go thru September or October of the current year.
Supports the Human Resources Department, which may include recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, and training. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Records information and answers questions about employee absences and supervisory reports on employee job performance. Performs various clerical duties (i.e. make copies, file documents). May respond to written inquiries from the public, send out announcements of job openings or job examinations, and issue application forms. May screen job applicants to obtain information such as their education and work experience; administer aptitude, personality, and interest tests; explain employment policies and refer qualified applicants to the employing official; and request references from present or past employers. May inform job applicants by telephone or letter, of their acceptance for or denial of employment. Generally reports to a Supervisor or Manager.
