Trailways of New York is Hiring Coach Bus Drivers

When getting there matters, our modern well-equipped motor coaches carry passengers throughout New York State, and into Montreal, Toronto and Detroit, Michigan.

We have immediate employment opportunities for Full-Time, Part-Time and Seasonal Coach Bus Drivers based out of the Albany, New York area.

The preferred candidate is a self-starter who manages their time safely and effectively with little supervision, and has:

• One or more years of experience operating a commercial vehicle, preferably a motor coach or school bus.
• A valid class B or A commercial driver's license.
• An unrestricted Passenger endorsement (ability to transport 15 passengers or more) Operators with a valid class A or B license without a Passenger endorsement may have an opportunity to obtain one as part of the 5-week training program.
• A valid passport or enhanced driver's license for travel to Canada.
• Full-Time candidates must have open availability to work a 5- or 6-day workweek including nights, weekends, and holidays. Part-Time candidates can provide a set availability.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and D.O.T. physical.
• An acceptable driving record.
• Strong customer service skills.
• A love of driving and the willingness to travel.

Your benefits:

• First year average earnings $48,000.00-$53,000.
• A generous $5000 Sign-On bonus-($500 of which is for initial uniform allowance)
