VP of Human Resources

Position Overview
As the Vice President of Human Resources you will design and develop Company 's Human Resources vision in order to support the company's goals for growth. You will be expected to serve as a trusted advisor to the company 's leadership team as well as mentor, coach and provide direction to the Human Resources Department and other areas within the business. You will oversee a department of 20 employees across four functional areas: HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Total Rewards. This position will report to the Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer.


  • Establishes and implements short- and long-term organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates program and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.
  • Provides support to business leaders and employees in all areas of performance management. Processes include goal and objective setting, performance reviews, individual development, performance improvement, and corrective action plans.
  • Leads the development and refinement of cultural initiatives including employee engagement that will enhance employee effectiveness.
  • Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; training, supervision, and evaluation of HR 's four functional teams: HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Total Rewards.
  • Manages the HR Operations function including effective policy development, compliance with all laws and regulations, HRIS administration (Workday), and resolution of complex employment matters to minimize risk/liabilities to the company.
  • Manages the Talent Acquisition function including effective assessment, selection, and overall recruitment process. Provide recommendations regarding key hiring decisions and prioritize current and expected position vacancies.
  • Manages the Talent Development function including designing effective performance management practices and implementing Diversity and Inclusion programs.
  • Manages the Total Rewards function during the annual benefits renewal process including the negotiation and contracting with vendors and enrollment processes.


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 15+ years' of Human Resources experience in various organization sizes including those experiencing high-growth.
  • Experience designing Human Resource programs (including HRIS) and driving a vision for the Human Resources organization that aligns with the company's strategy.
  • Proven ability to deal with rapid growth in constantly changing environments and a record of fostering highly collaborative work environments while championing innovation.
  • Knowledge of US and international employment law and regulations including expatriate assignments.


  • HRCI or SHRM certification strongly preferred.
  • MBA, MHR, MSHR, JD or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in energy industry and collective bargaining a plus.
  • Bilingual '" English/Spanish a plus.
  • Workday experience a plus.
