$70,000 - $80,000/Year

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Huntington, Indiana Plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Will support both existing products and processes as well as product launches.
  • Support all plant manufacturing efforts, responsible for reviewing and updating as needed.
  • Process flow diagrams.
  • Process control plans.
  • Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis plans.
  • Manufacturing work instructions.
  • Error proofing effectiveness.
  • Develop, document, and provide support for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, production, and quality through layered process auditing and scrap reduction.
  • Read and Interpret GD & T and applying that knowledge as needed.
  • Support IATF16949 and ISO14001 initiatives.
  • Documented root cause analysis with permanent corrective actions for both internal and external customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering is required.
  • At least three years of automotive manufacturing is preferred or recent graduate with manufacturing experience as an intern/co-op.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to travel to customers as needed.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and/or off-shifts to support plant objectives.
