Prepare standard financial statements for entities under management, quarterly.
Reconcile financial information between reporting systems (general ledger, Excel, portfolio reporting system, and organizational documents)
Maintain recordkeeping for all entities including organizational and transaction documents
Assist with management of foundations including processing donations
Assist with management of trusts including preparing distributions
Respond to client requests and inquiries; obtain client signatures on financial documents; process new client onboarding
Complete custodian bank documents for account openings and closings
Complete investment subscription documents
Compilation of tax documents to provide them to the tax preparer
Assist third party auditors and valuation experts with work related to entities
Assist accounting team members, Controller, and Treasurer with ad hoc tasks as requested
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum 4 years of accounting experience; Some tax compliance experience is a plus
Proficiency with SageIntacct and Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel
Familiarity with Addepar or iPaladin is a plus but not required (training will be provided)
Ability to become proficient in new software quickly
Desire to work in a small collegial environment; ability to self-motivate and manage multiple tasks and projects
Highly detail- and data-oriented with solid critical thinking, organizational and analytical skills
Comfortable taking the initiative and suggesting new ideas, processes, improvements, etc.
Communicates effectively with internal and external parties
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in performing duties
