SSFM Honolulu, HI (Onsite) Full-Time
Derived Salary: $95K - $110K/Year
We are looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join our team. As a member of our team, you will apply engineering fundamentals to practical applications and work on assignments aimed at developing professional knowledge and abilities. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients in collaboration with architects, surveyors, and other engineers.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs design tasks according to plans, estimates and specifications.
  • Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and design using relevant software tools.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for construction projects.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess project requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support staff.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Desire to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
