As a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with Lantern Therapy, you’ll play a crucial role in helping patients regain their independence, mobility, and confidence, all while making a direct and lasting impact on their quality of life.This role is central to our business—you are the heart of our patient care model.

Physical Therapists (PTs):

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in their homes to assess strength, mobility, pain levels, balance, and overall physical function.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
  • Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, balance and gait training, and functional mobility interventions.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and maintain accurate, timely clinical records in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Educate patients and family members on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies to support recovery and prevent re-injury.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other home health team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and guide Physical Therapist Assistants (if applicable), ensuring appropriate delegation of duties and patient care quality.

Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs):

  • Carry out treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
    Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and manual techniques as outlined in the patient’s care plan.
  • Observe and report on patient responses, progress, or any changes in condition to the supervising PT.
  • Assist patients with safe use of mobility aids and adaptive equipment.
  • Reinforce patient and caregiver education on home exercises and safety precautions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
