What the Controller will do:

• Direct the financial operations of US offices by leading the accounting team, North American, and E-Commerce operations.


• Oversee employees responsible for financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation


• Implement internal control policies and procedures for all financial activities


• Oversee departmental employee training and identifies training needs


• Coordinate the company's financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities


• Provide management with short- and long-term financial objectives


• Advise business units on and assists with implementation of accounting and budgeting policies


• Confirm accuracy and oversees filing of quarterly and annual reports


• Administrate the SAP Business One systems and works closely with IT on system improvements


• Collaborate with external auditors to provide information needed for the annual audit

Requirements of the Controller:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required


• 7+ years of related experience; 5+ years of experience as Controller preferred


• Must have consolidations experience; international would be a plus


• Strong supervisory and leadership skills


• Strong IT skills, preferably with advanced Excel knowledge (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, and modeling)


• Three years' experience with SAP Business One or other ERP systems equivalent
