What the Controller will do:
Direct the financial operations of US offices by leading the accounting team, North American, and E-Commerce operations.
Oversee employees responsible for financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation
Implement internal control policies and procedures for all financial activities
Oversee departmental employee training and identifies training needs
Coordinate the company's financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities
Provide management with short- and long-term financial objectives
Advise business units on and assists with implementation of accounting and budgeting policies
Confirm accuracy and oversees filing of quarterly and annual reports
Administrate the SAP Business One systems and works closely with IT on system improvements
Collaborate with external auditors to provide information needed for the annual audit
Requirements of the Controller:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
7+ years of related experience; 5+ years of experience as Controller preferred
Must have consolidations experience; international would be a plus
Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Strong IT skills, preferably with advanced Excel knowledge (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, and modeling)
Three years' experience with SAP Business One or other ERP systems equivalent
