Located in the beautiful central hills of Tennessee, between two magnificent rivers, NTYA is a highly - structured 115-bed cognitive behavioral program serving adolescent males ages 12-17 years old.  We help our residents to refocus their thinking patterns in order to improve their actions/ behavior.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Registered Nurse (RN) for the evening shift, Mon - Thurs., 2:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m..to help us continue with our tradition of helping young men to have the greatest chance of success possible.

Job Requirements

The RN renders professional nursing care to students within the treatment programs. S/he practices ongoing student assessment, evaluation and update of student care through observation of physical and behavioral symptoms and communicates pertinent data to other service areas as needed as well as documenting findings accurately. S/he administers medications appropriately and documents all data accurately according to facility policy. S/he participates in formulation of individual treatment/care plans for all students and implements plan according to facility policy.

Job Requirements

  • RN Licensure (TN)
  • Valid Driver License
  • CPR / 1st Aid Certified

The Natchez Trace Youth Academy (NTYA) is a highly-structured residential treatment facility located in middle Tennessee. Our cognitive behavioral program serves adolescent males, 12-17 years old.

We help residents refocus their thinking patterns in order to improve their actions/ behavior. Each resident receives an Individual Program Plan tailored to meet his particular needs to direct this process of thinking and behavior change.

The Natchez Trace Youth Academy is CARF-accredited and licensed by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities for Residential and Tennessee Department of Children’s Services for Foster Care.
