Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our dynamic finance team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and providing accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial activities of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and maintain accurate and complete financial records.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage the accounting team and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the finance industry, preferably from a Law Firm or Professional Services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing a team and providing guidance and support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
