Location: McCordsville IN, USA

Remote 40% - 80%The purpose of this position is to optimize manufacturing processes by developing and maintaining data collection of non-financial metrics for budget, actual, & forecast to achieve good cycle and product cost analysis. In addition to collection and storage of production data, the candidate must be able to develop reports, self-service data analysis tools, and dashboards that allow key stakeholders to easily read and act upon the data. The ability to look a data and think cross functionally is essential to ensuring the output makes sense to various disciplines within a manufacturing organization.Job Summary:

Fulfill ad-hoc data requests including any requisite analysis, reporting to customers and/or management within requested time frame
Support and train plant users use of various Business Intelligence systems used to plan, gather and report Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), quality and other Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Support periodic reporting of various KPIs (daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and/or annually) including automation, maintenance and continuous improvement
Database Administration: Develop and standardize new databases/cubes and Query's. Maintain database updates, user security, data security, data loads. Manage upgrades, primary support contact, solve user issues, and correct system issues.

Confer with and prepares reports for upper management.
Maintain functional knowledge of processes, procedures and equipment within manufacturing.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment according to 6S.

Education:

4-year degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering or equivalent work experience or certificate.

Experience:

Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
Experience calculating Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), capacity or other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Glovia or similar.
Advanced proficiency in Windows, Excel.
Demonstrated ability to learn and use new software, databases and analysis tools.
Ability and willingness to travel as required (up to 15%).
