Equipment Technician

HotFoot has partnered with a global advanced chip manufacturing organization hiring motivated individuals that would like to join the semiconductor industry.

Position: Equipment Technician (90% Cleanroom/10% Office)
Type: Direct Hire
Training Schedule: Monday - Friday 8A-5P (3-6 months)
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, day or night shifts, 3-4 days per week
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Compensation: $25/hr to start, built-in OT with 3/4 schedule

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on advanced semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment (90% of your working time).
• Perform quality audits and visual checks post-maintenance to ensure standards are met.
• Follow SOPs and troubleshoot the factory system and equipment error alerts.
• Analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts to monitor and maintain process quality, addressing defects as needed.
• Manage and enhance the spare parts inventory system, overseeing the lifecycle of parts.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing skills development.
• Transfer of wafers from department to department. (Lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Ability to walk long distances.
• Utilize procedures and SOP's to perform duties daily.
• Communicate effectively with other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school Diploma OR GED required
• Experienced working in a cleanroom environment or have prior exposure to a cleanroom environment is a PLUS!
• Electrical and maintenance exposure or experience is a HUGE PLUS.
• Interest in learning innovation and joining the semiconductor industry.
• Skilled with basic Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and Outlook.
