Your Responsibilities Include

  • Develop and refine Company’s health care vision, increasing our community’s ability to respond in a timely and strategic way to new opportunities and threats
  • Supervise team of directors focused on issues within the portfolio and manage talent development
  • Collaborate with executive leadership at each of Company’s organizations to identify and drive necessary integration with businesses across the Company philanthropic community to execute strategies and achieve the goals and objectives
  • Connect internal and external partners to strategic plans, prioritized goals and objectives, and their connection to vision
  • Drive accountability and progress toward goals and objectives across a variety of teams; proactively problem-solve and remove barriers for individuals and teams
  • Seek and incorporate best-in-class knowledge about health care to identify highest leveraged opportunities e.g. partnerships, other support or collaboration
  • Foster new partnerships and manage relationships with external partners
  • Drive a vision for communications with all relevant parties, including media, Company partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Drive a culture consistent with Market-Based Management® and our Guiding Principles

Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

  • 10+ years of experience leading and managing strategic projects, preferably focused issues specific to health care
  • 7+ years’ experience leading and supervising a team
  • Sound understanding of health care, including the role businesses, communities, education, and public policy can play in driving desirable change
  • Experience driving public policy strategy with proven outcomes
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and high sense of urgency balanced with strategic prioritization
  • Ability to drive a portfolio of projects to completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience driving collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Superior communication capabilities and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
