Job Summary:  The Accounting Specialist assists the Live Accounting Mill Manager in making better-informed decisions concerning inventory and pricing of ingredients as well as maintains the pricing of finished feed for flocks and ensures the accuracy of data in SAP & Mtech.  

Essential Functions:  The Accounting Specialist enters daily receiving into Mtech; pays invoices; monitors corn and other contracts; checks feed tickets; prices finished feed; issues goods based on inventory; processes the shrink report and other pertinent reports; processes feed hauling and live hauling invoices.

Additional Functions:  The Accounting Specialist may occasionally take grower orders and perform other duties as assigned by the Live accounting mill manager.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:  The Accounting Specialist should have solid mathematical and communication ability as well as computer skills.

Education and Experience:  Bachelor degree preferred, 1-3 years of relevant experience
