Physical Therapy is currently seeking qualified hand therapists (Physical or Occupational
Therapists) to join our dynamic team of hand specialists to be remarkable with
us. We are seeking individuals that are veteran CHT’s or recent graduates that
are interested in beginning a career specializing in hands. As a veteran or
aspiring ATI hand therapist, you will work in a friendly and encouraging

source development. Opportunities exist in several of
our eastern MA locations. If not a veteran hand therapists the candidates must
have a strong interest in hand therapy, orthopedics and fabrication of orthoses!

1. Ensure every patient receives
a thorough, comprehensive and customized hand therapy evaluation, while
receiving a unique patient experience.
2. Provide a written and
hands-on evaluation followed by immediate treatment of the patient conditions in
order to determine an appropriate treatment plan. Consult with clinic director
or referring physicians regarding diagnosis.
3. Ensure fluid treatment
progression via ongoing scheduling of patients.
4. Develop and implement hand
therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
5. Assist patients with
all phases of therapy treatment and techniques.
6. Discuss treatment with
patient and record patient conditions, measurements and responses to treatment
in patient’s medical record after each visit.
7. Complete daily patient
care notes, progress notes, discharge notes and other required forms as
requested by treating physicians, rehab nurses or insurance companies.
8. Consult with clinic
director, hand coordinator or referring physician regarding patient diagnosis
and communicate changes via progress notes.
9. Provide continuous
communication with referring physician(s), therapy assistants and other team
members regarding anything relevant to the patient therapy experience.
10. Operate and apply
knowledge of standard hand therapy equipment and treatment modalities and

orthosis fabrication and strapping and/or be willing to learn
12. Comply with ATI standards of operations and adhere to ATI core
Hand Therapists report directly to the Clinic Director.
Masters/Doctorate degree in Occupational or Physical Therapy from an
accredited program. Current OT or PT Licensure or eligibility for OT or PT
license required. Certification in Hand Therapy or a strong desire to become a
hand therapist (evidenced by previous hand therapy experience/exposure) is required
in order to be considered.
