Senior License Management Specialist

**Job Description Summary:**

Job Overview:

The License Management Team is responsible for managing the accurate and timely delivery of product to customers, partners, and internal users with license controls consistent to 1) a unique customer's current and past order(s), 2) business practices for license control rules, and 3) the technical enablement rules of each of over 200+ individual product being licensed.

The Senior License Management Specialist is responsible for managing all the license deliveries according to the requirements for each product areas assigned, including supervising, and coaching less experienced team members. This role manages the backlog of license keys for timely renewals as well as new license orders delivered by month end for revenue recognition. Managing accuracy requires the review of each order against the known internal dependencies of the product, interpreting the meaning of the sales order and reconciling to previous/existing orders.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** :

+ Provide supervisory responsibilities for the team, which include hiring new team members, onboarding, and training, providing regular feedback and coaching, and ensuring that the team meets its delivery goals.

+ Review current and newly acquired product license control capabilities to ensure alignment with standard business practices.

+ Interpret sales orders and translate into the controls available within the product for creating license keys consistent with the intent of the agreement

+ Monitor the upcoming renewal of expiring keys and new key requests to ensure their timely delivery (especially during end of month, quarter, and year)

+ Cross-train to enable resource flexibility

+ Work directly with Sales teams to resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Minimum 4 to 7 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

+ Strong orientation to details

+ Must have good communication skills

+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize work efforts

+ Ability to work flexible hours during month-end to get all keys delivered

+ Computer literate in all Microsoft Office applications

+ Self-motivated, creative; can work independently, as well as a team player
