This role is a key-contributor to the organization and future technologies.  Successful candidates will possess proven experience developing and delivering quality software solutions. The Business Development Associate is an integral part of a high performing team responsible for driving the organization’s growth across our health plan and health system segments. This position collaborates with naviHealth senior management to facilitate the growth of our post-acute care clinical services and technology model for health plans and health systems. The Business Development Team is also responsible for collaborating with executive leadership to design new and complementary solutions for health plan and health system partners that capitalizes on our post-acute infrastructure and value-based care approach.

This position will be principally involved in all new business development related activities, including leading targeted sales efforts and working with cross-functional teams to execute the go-to-market strategy for new solutions. This role serves as one of the primary engines behind naviHealth’s growth and will be a critical to naviHealth’s overall strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial analysis and operational diligence for expansion opportunities in our core lines of business
  • Formulate business cases, pricing models, and pitch materials to present internally to underwriting committees and externally for prospect and partner interactions
  • Collaborate directly with field sales team members across all lines of business to support relationship development and growth/sales © 2020 naviHealth, Inc. All Rights Reserved
  • Partner with legal, financial, actuarial, and operations teams to create legal documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new strategic growth initiatives that adjacent to our core business
  • Create messaging and content for internal senior management, executive, and board leadership
  • Support new business opportunities through direct interaction with prospective clients by leading and presenting materials across all lines of business
  • Train and educate junior colleagues on industry details, and naviHealth strategies and processes
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of healthcare experience or equivalent relevant experience and education
  • Experience in financial reporting and modeling, preferably in a corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, equity research, orother comparable setting
  • Able to apply financial knowledge to pricing development and strategy
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $54,400 to $97,000. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $60,000 to $106,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
