Information Technology and Access Management Analyst II

Shift: 7:00AM through 7:00PM Mon-Friday
Must be available after hours

The Information Technology and Systems Analyst II acts as the front-line technical support professional for all employees of Amerant Mortgage, providing excellent customer service by either delivering high levels of first contact resolution or by properly routing service cases to the appropriate resolution. This position leads the Identity & Access Management program, and standards for delivering enterprise-wide identity and access to core systems and application for our team members and vendors.

The ideal candidate is expected to effectively execute the following responsibilities with some direct supervision and guidance for all their assigned cases:

  • Handle calls within established SLA time frames while providing professional technical support and guidance

  • Complete access requests and ensure timely handling, monitoring departmental queue for requests and ensure work product is following Policy, Standards and Procedures through resolution

  • Route IT Service Case to the appropriate resolution teams to resolve cases beyond the scope of their ability or responsibility. Assist with troubleshooting and problem analysis by working with other teams, vendors or users in diagnosing and resolving users access issues

  • Serve as the access management subject matter expert (SME) and the main point of contact for access management needs of all systems and applications. Assist IT Teams in the implementation of access management controls for new systems and applications. Analyze requests for various business systems and applications, including creation, deletion, and modification of access within business roles and groups, as required.

  • Provision and d-provision access to applications, infrastructure, and operating systems as per established Policy, Standards and procedures. Including any reporting needs from access management documentation prepared for Internal and External audits and reporting of compliance with information security policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and support to enhance the organization's employee job profiles and ensure accuracy of employee job profiles

  • Review and perform quality control verification and validation of access changes to SOX, Critical and Non-critical applications

  • Identify, evaluate, monitor, and make any recommendation(s) deemed necessary to CISO to assess, reduce, eliminate or control any current or prospective risks to earnings or capital arising from violations of, or non conformance with, laws, rules regulations, prescribed practices, internal policies and procedures or ethical standards

  • Lead the development of monthly metrics and indicators and in the remediation Information Security action plans

Minimum Work Experience
3+ years of experience actively performing this position's responsibilities within a banking or finance environment
2+ years of experience provisioning accesses

Education and/or Certifications
High School graduate or GED required
Associate Degree Computer sciences (or equivalent) preferred
Certified computer professional in A+ and ITIL Foundation Certification Preferred

Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge

Understand current Identity and Access Management Concepts and best practices Proven experience managing the following processes: New Hire On-Boarding, Employee Off-Boarding, Department Transfers, Access Remediation, and Privileged Access
Demonstrate understanding of information security principles in order to help secure the Bank's information assets

Windows, Office 365(Outlook), and MS Office 2013 and Service Now are a must
Proficiency using Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, service request management systems and applications
Proficiency suing the Microsoft Office Product Suite: Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Understand PC Hardware components
Must be able to lend support for PCs/Laptops and Printer issues
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

Some lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling equipment is involved
